Antique Wind-up Toys

Wind up toys may not seem like such a big deal today, but when they were first introduced in back in the 1500's, but it wasn't until the 1800's that they were produced in large quantities. Children all over the world were captivated by the simple wind-up toys and toy companies produced these wind-up toys in various forms including dolls, cars, trucks, trains, animals and more. One of the top makers of early wind-up toys was Louis Marx Company, which today are quite sought after among collectors.
