Antique Marklin Toys

Founded in Germany in 1859, the company first started in the business of doll house accessories, but today produces many different types of toys. The first toy to be released by Marklin was a wind-up car that ran on tracks. The thought behind it was that like doll houses, after the purchase of the house, accessories could be purchased for many years thereafter.
